Accelerated Freefall

For a more advanced approach, AFF (Accelerated Freefall) training is available. You may experience an AFF level jump at Skydive the first, and if you decide to continue, it will be considered part of your skydiving certification program.

Accelerated Freefall (AFF) Skydiving

Accelerated freefall is the fast track method of learning Skydive. This is the ultimate in skydiving for fun and education consists of a 7-step program that allows you to freefall on every Skydive. Step 1

Training: Approximately 5 hours of basic education and jump with 2 instructors.

Objectives: Stable body position, altitude, parachute activation, radio assisted landing.
Step 2

Training: body awareness, basic education and jump with 2 instructors.

Objectives: a stable body relaxation, pilot chute throw and turning techniques landing, radio assisted.
Step 3

Training: Hover control and direction, and jump with 2 instructors.

Objectives: Balanced body position, control hovering, hold heading, radio assisted landing.
Step 4

Training: Consolidation of previous levels. Repeat step 3. Depending on your progress will jump with 1 or 2 instructors, with or without radio assisted landing.
Step 5

Training: Learning to turn and jump with 1 instructor.

Objectives: Linked or canceled in freefall, 360 degree change.
Step 6

Training: Step 5 with repeat Consolidation forward movement and jump with 1 instructor.

Objectives: To consolidate progress and achieve forward movement.
Step 7

Training: Backloops and tracking and jump with 1 instructor.

Objectives: Dive exit, backloops, 180 degrees, delta, flare and wave off.
